Im going to america this summer 4 the 1st time ,chicago, washington and california, any advices where to go plz?

California...If in the north, its gotta be San Francisco!

Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, and the wildest area: North Beach!(night clubs, bistros, the legendary City Lights bookstore, and adult entertainment too) If in the south, the Sunset Strip is SoCal's answer to NorCal's North Beach(Whisky-a-Go-Go, etc.). Plus, all manner of sports-Dodgers and Angels baseball etc. Museum complex in Exposition Park across from USC (Norton Simon Art Museum in nearby Pasadena). Disneyland in Anaheim/Magic MTN. in Valencia/Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park-amusement parks etc.) I live in SoCal, 35 mi. fr. L.A.-45 min. from beach/desert/mtns/city...it's all here from family to adult!Im going to america this summer 4 the 1st time ,chicago, washington and california, any advices where to go plz?
Um...Chicago is in the state Illinois by the way, but anyhow. San Diego, California is pleasant....Seattle washington definitely. Stop by somewhere in Oregon while your in tooIm going to america this summer 4 the 1st time ,chicago, washington and california, any advices where to go plz?
CHICAGO! I just signed a lease for an apartment on michigan ave. today!!!!
chicago... go to the pier..and do no forget to eat at bubba gump shrimp. restuarant. washinton d.c. .. the white house and other government buildings. washington state.. and california...are big states. but in california any hollywood star activitiy..and washington state..is great for parks and hiking.
Chicago You wont be disappointed
Chicago:Navy Pier,Spirit of Chicago,The Odessy,Museum of Science and Industry,The Du Sauble Museum,Harry Carray's,The RainForest Cafe,The House of Blues,Brookfeild and Lincoln Park Zoo,Excalibur,The Biology Bar,Oxygen,Ed Debevic's,Fado's,Tommy Guns Garage,Haagen Dazs Cafe,Popcorn Palace,Ranalli and Ryans,Shedd Aquarium,The Art Institute,Marshall Field's,Nordstorms,and American Girl.Keep in mind that these are only a few attractions,restaurants,and night scenes to check out.Chicago is a wonderful city and I hope you enjoy!
If you like scenery, I suggest the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River. If you take a flight from Chicago to Los Angeles, check with your air lines. The flight path might go right over the Canyon.

When in the Los Angeles area, I suggest visiting Venice Beach. Lots of crazy Americans roller blading everywhere. For good summer sun, anywhere along the Florida Atlantic Coast is good. Endless sandy beaches and many thousands of hotels. Bring money.
Are you going to Washington DC or Washington state? DC is the capital on the East coast and Washington state a state on the west coast. If you go to DC there is so much to do there! It is a great place filled with museums.
in California stop in Big Sur, it's paradise. No big companies around, lots of nature and beautifull views of coastal redwood forests and ocean.
You have to go to Vegas, and see the rest of the world.
Chicago--Blues bars! Hit halsted street, kingston mines, B.L.U.E.S., great zoo and if you will be there in the summertime you should hit millennium park on Michigan avenue downtown. It's a fantastic architectural site by Frank Gehry best seen by day, and most nights in the summer they have the only free classical music concerts left in the states.

Washington-Mt. St. helen's is very cool. You can hike, take massive amounts of photographs and generally ogle at this amazing bit of nature. also Pike's place Market in Seattle is a well known tourist spot with local fish and produce. a real experience.

Have fun!
