This ';secret of attraction'; has a simple explanation. When we seek forbidden thrills and forces, Satan is ready to answer. But when they rejected His guidelines and sought the occult thrills of pagan neighbors, He withdrew His protection. Left to their own meager resources (law of attraction), the nation of Israel was destroyed by Babylonian armies.

The essence of Rhonda Byrne鈥檚 The Secret is the law of attraction. According to Byrne and her twenty-nine co-contributors, all things in the universe (which is always capitalized and usually synonymous for ';God'; in the book) vibrate on a particular frequency. When a person thinks in harmony with the frequency of something, that person attracts it to themselves. If a person thinks about wealth, that person will receive wealth. If a person thinks instead about their debt, the person will receive more debt. You attract what you think about; your thoughts determine your destiny.





The law of attraction is restated by Byrne in various ways:

The Secret is nothing more than heretical so-called Name It-Claim It, Positive-Confession, Prosperity Theology (minus God and the Bible), built on a metaphysical foundation of New Age self-deification. Two Students Are Planning 4-6 Weeks In America, Summer 07....Any Advice!?!?

We are two students, 19 years old studying at University in the UK. We are planning to travel America this summer (07) for around 4-6 weeks, and wanted to know if anyone had any advice regarding: places to go: places to stay: things to do: visa requirements: getting around: ways to save money: ect!! Any help would be gratefully recieved!! :) It would be really good to talk to anyone who has done this before about routes, hotels, attractions, ect. OK I have travelled around America on a number of occasions, you can book in this country an Amtrak train pass, you can either do the East Coast which covers the mid-west States including Texas, North and South Dakota. Or you can do the West coast which also includes the mid-west states, or you can do all the states which you may not have long enough to visit bearing in mind the size of America. I would suggest taking the East Coast pass, because there is so much to see on the east coast. Don't get the grey hound ,they are uncountable and they go to dodgy places. The trains often have a observation room, in the middle state trains, they have an upstairs on the trains, so you can look out, they have a restaurant and a Buffet car, so you can move about. I have slept on trains and they are a lot more comfortable than buses as there is much more leg room.


In most large cities there are youth hostels, in the smaller towns they are less likely to have youth hostels and so you can stay in a motel 6 or 8. If there is two of you they are very good value as they often have kind size beds in ,and you will get a TV and a fridge in them. The most expensive motel I stay in was $60 a night which is just over 拢32 which is really good if you are sharing a room. This motel also had a swimming pool and you got breakfast included in the price. America is generally cheaper than the UK.


Places worth visiting in America are Martha's Vineyard, great place for cycling and there is a very good youth hostel there. Portland Maine is amazing, great place for boat trips. Philadelphia is a great place with great history attached to it, there is a youth hostel there. Charleston South Carolina, wonder place to visit and Savannah Georgia. Atlanta Georgia the home to coca cola worth a visit and James town Virgina, where the first British landed. Cape cod is a really nice place to visit and they do have youth hostels there, lots of beaches and good place to cycle, whale watching and sea fishing. There is a Portsmouth in Mass, and it is where the Pilgrims fathers landed. It really is worth a visit too. Don't forget Florida, the state with the most visitors. You have more than enough to do in six weeks on the East Coast. Oh yes most cheap flight go to New York often. your best bet is to get out of there as quick as possible, it is a very expensive place and I am no fan of New York. Resever all your hostels places on the Internet the day before, they do often have access to the Internet in the youth hostels, if they don't libraries are free. Also you must know this, Amtrak trains maybe good but they are often late, and when they are late in America they can be 4,5 hours late, you should phone before going to the station to find out if the train is running on time. Americans are friendly and can be very helpful especially if they know you look lost.

You should look into spending time in the Canyon Lands, Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon - anything canyon (in the South West). Driving would be cheapest, but for most car rental companies, you need to be 25 to rent a car. Most hotels in Las Vegas you stay in have info or can help you get hooked up with tour buses that that go to the Grand Canyon.

For a start Cambridge isn't a college but a university. The standard American High School diploma and good SAT scores are not considered sufficient for Cambridge admission. US applicants who did not follow either a British A-level curriculum or an international IB curriculum must offer instead at least 3 Advanced Placement (AP) exams with grades 5-5-5, in 3 subjects that are directly relevant to the applicant's intended university major. Note that 3 APs is pretty much the minimum number, but at least four or five AP exams with grades 4 or 5 will probably increase your chances of admission.

Advice for Bank of America stock.....?

Right now, they're trading at 19.93 a share. Prior to recently, they've traded as high as $55/share. I have a couple of BofA accounts and I've been happy with their service. Need advice on Bank of America fees!?

I opened a Nuevo Checking account years ago with no min. balance. I was told I will avoid any fees as long as


$ 25 is directly deposited from my checking to saving. Two months ago I noticed a monthly maintenance fee, and change in my account name from Nuevo checking to my Access.


The new rule is direct deposit or minimum balance of $900. They're stilI depositing $25 from my checking to saving. I'm confused and frusturated by the run around and lies I got from their agens via e-mail and on line chatting. I don't have direct deposit but I pay all my bills through the internet and on time.


Check this out, for their new customers that apply for my Access, no direct deposit or min. balance needed. Anybody been in this situation and had a solution? Any banks that don't charge any fees or the min. balance is less them $900? Thank you.Need advice on Bank of America fees!?
Bank of America is evil. A friend of mine has been a customer for 20 years or so of them. He always paid his stuff on time and wasn't a dead beat dude. He accidentally paid his mortgage late recently and his interest rate jumped from 5% or 6% to more than 30%. He explained the situation but BoA said they can't do anything about it until a year from the late fee.





Give me a break! They WON'T do anything because they are greedy.

Call them or go and see them to cancel that upgrade or change. If they mailed a notice then they can do that, but if they require your signature than they are at fault. But get it taken care of fast.
Bank of America is a good bank to have if you know how to use them. I worked in their customer service call center, so I obviously knew how to use my account, and told everybody else how to on a daily basis, so for me, it was easy. The whole $25 dollar transfer thing has a lot to do with timing. It has to be in the exact time frame or else you will get charged. Your ';time frame'; is usually your monthly statement cycle. Also, the $25 has to be setup as an automatic transfer, so just doing a transfer yourself doesn't cut it. I would take a look at the timing of these transfer to determine what's going on. As for a bank with no fees, Wachovia has a Free checking, no direct deposit required, no minimum balances required, however the bank itself is a little lacking, in my opinion.

I spent two weeks in South America this year. I would recommend Chile, and specifically these locations:





Torres del Paine (Patagonia Region/Glaciers)


San Pedro de Atacama (Desert)


Green/White Lagoon (It's Bolivia, but very close to the Chilean Desert)
