i'm going to new jersey in may with camp america, i'll be doing the camp for 11 weeks then i'll travel around the states on my own for a bit..
anyone got any advice about things i should do or see?
i've got a plan i just want to make sure i'm not missing out on anything..

There are many travel guides for the USA (in stores or online) and you should look through them to decide what types of things you might want to do/see. Obvious places to visit from new Jersey are New York City and Washington, DC, but that's up to you. Narrow your choices and then ask more questions.
