Is the advice that George Washington gave to America in his Farewell Address not to get mixed up in foreign?

alliances and to avoid the burden of excessive defense expenditures valid today? Is the advice that George Washington gave to America in his Farewell Address not to get mixed up in foreign?
YES. We are in no different of a situation today. In fact the problems we have today are from interfering.

If we do not get involved than we can't piss anyone off.

If no one is pissed than we make no enemy of them.

By making no enemy of either side we are free to be friends with both sides.

Being friends with both sides keeps us safe and secure and prosperous. Is the advice that George Washington gave to America in his Farewell Address not to get mixed up in foreign?
Yes it is. Anything else?
It is. Gen. MacArthur said to stay away from S.E. Asia. I'm sure somebody must've been smart enough to say stay out of the Middle East, maybe

Lawrence of Arabia or some other insightful person. We like to meddle and pay gazillions of dollars on the whims of our politicians.
