Lost my voice, being sick and it freeks me out, being in south America travelling. any advice?

It sounds like you have laryngitis. I've had this many times. You need to rest your voice as much as possible but if you have symptoms such as a low grade fever, nasal congestion, runny nose, muscle aches or feeling run down. This suggests a virus. You need to drink plenty of fluids and take Tylenol or Advil, whatever is on hand. You could also try inhaling steam from a hot bath or shower this sometimes makes you feel better and last but not least AVOID SMOKING or areas where others are smoking. Hope this helps and feel better soon!Lost my voice, being sick and it freeks me out, being in south America travelling. any advice?
Honey and lemon and get a notepad and pencil! the more you try to talk until you're well you'll just aggravate your situationLost my voice, being sick and it freeks me out, being in south America travelling. any advice?
Try drinking honey mixed with water, don't make it too sweet though, try not to talk so much. For the meantime, just try to enjoy writing to people instead of talking to them.
