I am going to be performing my Teach for America lesson plan in about a week and wanted to see if anyone else created and taught a lesson plan for the program, and if they had any advice.

Make sure to follow the instructions they give you exactly and to practice. Pick something that you can definitely teaching in five minutes and don't just lecture since that won't be very interesting for the ';students.'; Do some research on how to teach an effective lesson and then just shorten this cycle down to 5 minutes.
