I made it to the final interview for Teach for America, if anyone has previous experience or advice?

I'm feeling very nervous because being a member of this organization is a dream of mine, I'd greatly appreciate if anyone has some first-hand input on the day's events and what to expect, if not, just a prayer and wishing of good luck would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!! =)I made it to the final interview for Teach for America, if anyone has previous experience or advice?
They will send you detailed directions prior to the interview so review those. Do some research so that you're able to do well on each component. Make sure to prepare and practice the sample lesson. Study the website to get a better idea of the kinds of characteristics they're looking for.

Most importantly, just go in feeling confident and let them get to know you. You'll be fine!I made it to the final interview for Teach for America, if anyone has previous experience or advice?
Good luck. My girlfriend did Americorps literacy, which is the closest we have here, as the closest Teach for America city is Philly. When she did it they were really cutting programs, and she didn't get the first assignment she applied for. (she wanted to do work at an addiction clinic) It seems Obama really supports it though, so there should be more programs now than there were 10 years ago.
