What medical advice would be given to you by a doctor is the 1600's in America?

Like for diseases, and headaches, and being sore? What medical advice would be given to you by a doctor is the 1600's in America?
They drain the blood out of you. It will cure anything. What medical advice would be given to you by a doctor is the 1600's in America?
Not much. Everyone knew about cancer, but nothing about early detection... by the time someone knew they had it, it was either a raging , bloody tumor, or if in the abdomen, a huge swelling and had been there easily 10 + years..

Bowel cancer produced blood and pain. Even the ancient Greeks knew about breast cancer.

One of John Adams' daughter in the 1700's had br ca, and the breast removed.... no anesthesia. She died of it anyway.

For pain, the drug of choice was a heroin derivative.

Headaches, and being sore were the least of your problems. Most people didn't live much beyond 45 or 59 anyway.
