Any advice on who to contact or how to accomplish this?EMT wants to volunteer for medical mission in Latin America. Any advice on how, with whom to volunteer?
Try Doctors Without Boarders. Or the Red Cross.EMT wants to volunteer for medical mission in Latin America. Any advice on how, with whom to volunteer?
One option: Hearts In Motion. Hearts In Motion is a non-profit, non-denominational charity focusing on the needs of children and families. Their home page is

www.heartsinmotion.org.
Doctors Without Borders may offer a spot for EMT-Bs, but I find it far more likely that if they accept EMTs they will limit it to EMT-Ps. Also try the Red Cross. It would be worth giving JEMS or FEMA an email or call. I know FEMA has a volunteer task force that opperates within the US and they will accept EMT-Bs.

Doctors Without Borders (http://www.doctorswithoutborders.org)doe鈥?/a> recruit people who are not doctors, but I don't know about EMT-Bs. They, at the moment, are going to a lot of French speaking African countries, and I don't know anything about Latin America. Good luck.
Have you tried checking with your local branch of the Red Cross. Perhaps they can put you in contact with International Red Cross.
